Perry: You'll probably be blown to pieces if you wait long enough. Then you'll never see.
John: I'm not so sure. I have a feeling that one might see the whole business just for a second before one dies. Like going under an anaesthetic, everything becomes blurred and enormous and then suddenly clears, just for a fraction of a fraction of a moment. Perhaps that infinitesimal moment is what we're all waiting for really.
